Custom Divider Drapes In A New Jersey Country Club

At Alpine Country Club, refined design meets functional innovation through a custom drapery installation by our workroom. In this elegant New Jersey setting, we installed a series of motorized drapes that transform a large open room into five distinct, flexible spaces.

The project features four pairs of custom drapes, each installed on discreet motorized tracks concealed inside ceiling pockets. When fully extended, the drapes create elegant partitions, allowing the space to adapt seamlessly for private events, meetings, or intimate gatherings. When retracted, the room opens back up into a grand, continuous environment.

The choice of fabric was central to the design. The rich, shiny velvet is self-lined with the same fabric on both sides. This detail ensures a consistent, luxurious appearance from every angle, whether viewed from inside one of the divided spaces or across the full room. The symmetry of the fabric elevates the overall aesthetic while maintaining a clean, architectural look.

Beyond aesthetics, these drapes deliver meaningful functional benefits. The velvet fabric enhances sound absorption, reducing noise transfer between sections and creating a more comfortable acoustic environment. This is particularly valuable in multi-use hospitality spaces where privacy and ambiance are essential. Additionally, the drapes introduce a sense of warmth and softness, balancing the scale of the large room and making each section feel more intimate.

The tracks are motorized. Each pair opens and closes individually, or all 4 pairs move at once. The drapes are hidden in side pockets on the wall.
